Scalp Micropigmentation is a skill which can be learned by anyone if they choose the correct course to learn the fundamentals.
Yes! Upon successful completion of all online theory, practical and hands on training tasks, you will be certified by Inkd SMP to perform Scalp Micropigmentation! Please note that Infection Control and cosmetic tattoo licensing requirements vary state to state.
As the tattoo industry in Australia is not governed by any specific entity it does not require accreditation for you to perform tattooing. However, licensing will vary state to state.

The best course for SPMU artists and tattooists would be our Experienced Scalp Micropigmentation training course. One on one or discounted rates may apply for those who currently have their own kit and equipment. Scalp Micropigmentation requires a very specific technique and application. Even experienced tattooers will be required to take our 3 day hands on training to develop these skills.
We provide each student with the opportunity to work on up to 4 live models during the Scalp Micropigmentation training course. Each model will have varying degrees of hair loss, skin tones and skin types. We're currently the only training academy offering such an exclusive level of hands on experience.
Yes! Our Scalp Micropigmentation course gives you the perfect grounding and platform to start delivering treatments immediately after it, and for you to really push on with afterwards. With our ongoing support and guidance, we will help you become better and better at your craft even following completion of the course.
An established Scalp Micropigmentation artist who produces work of a high standard and who has their marketing on-point can expect to earn anything between $250 on quieter days $1,200 on busier days ($100-300 per hour). Over the course of the year expect to earn six figures, somewhere between $100k - $200k per annum. It takes approximately a year to get to this point providing that all elements of your business are performing optimally. For Example: website, advertising and other marketing activities. All things we can help you with on and after the course. Just ask!
We are not a training factory, we do not attempt to teach large groups of trainees! We believe in quality training over quantity of students. Therefore our class size is no more than 4 students with 2 experienced trainers, meaning you get plenty of high-quality 1-2-1 tuition.
We believe our training course is the most detailed training course available, we want all of our students to succeed, the more artists there are out there producing high quality work, the better it is overall for the Scalp Micropigmentation industry.
Unlike other training providers, we will teach you how to successfully attract clients through our marketing and sales workshop. We teach you how to perform successful consultations, take perfect before & after photos, manager your social media pages and much more.
On live model day, we will be taking shots and footage of you in action working on a real life clients. This content will then be shared with you for you to use on your website and social medial platforms.
You will also get to keep all before and after photographs of your live models for you to use in your treatment portfolio.
Following completion of your course, we will be available for ongoing mentoring and skills assistance. This includes returning for one day's additional training to shadow us, receive extra practice, or bring your first solo client in for us to oversee your treatment.
